How to Create a Hosting Account in WHM

Reseller WHM Panel

WHM (Web Host Manager) is the control panel used by reseller hosting users to manage their client accounts and hosting packages. This guide explains how to create a new cPanel hosting account step by step.

1. Log in to WHM

Access your WHM panel through:

https://yourserverip:2087

Enter your reseller username and password to log in.

2. Create a New Account

Navigate to Account Functions → Create a New Account.

  • Domain: Enter the client’s domain (e.g., clientdomain.com).
  • Username: Automatically generated or custom.
  • Password: Choose a strong password (e.g., P@ss123!).
  • Email: Client contact address.

3. Select a Package

Choose a predefined package or click Add a Package to create a new one. Set limits for disk space, bandwidth, email accounts, and databases.

4. Configure DNS / Nameservers

If you have branded nameservers (e.g., ns1.yourbrand.com / ns2.yourbrand.com), enter them here. SosyoHost provides white-label nameserver support for all resellers.

5. Enable Features

  • AutoSSL (Let’s Encrypt)
  • cPanel Login Access
  • Email Accounts
  • FTP and DNS Management

6. Create the Account

Click Create to finalize. Your new hosting account will be ready within seconds and visible in the WHM account list.

7. Share Login Credentials

Provide your client with the cPanel access URL, username, and password securely.

Note: Each cPanel account operates independently within WHM, ensuring isolation between customer data and services.
